Michael Jacob has announced that all interviewees have now been contacted. It's in the comments section here. Didn't get mine unless it got jammed in the wire when competing with all the job offers that failed to get through.
Oh well. Just got to keep at it and lots of other chances coming up. The first performance of my short play Paddling is on Wednesday so butterflies bigtime at the moment.
Did any of you get an invite to the interviews?

Nope, can't have even got close. But then I entered a pile of shit at the very last minute, so expected nothing less. Better luck next year Rach!
I'm sure it was a thoughtful piece that you sweated long and hard over? Mine was last minute too but I still hoped....
Good luck with the Drama College one. I'm not eligible for that one...yet.
Crying shame, gals, but no dobt the beeb's loss!
I'm back! Rach-sorry no Friday Fun this week -the bloddy p.c. wwent mad and blew up- only just got it back to some sort of working-lost things-only have word pad with no spell check etc- and Dr Who's on in a minute so havent got time to write!
Hard luck Rach, my luck ran out at top 40. But it's not as if that's the last chance of a commission, you can work on it in your time now.
Hey Sheiky, glad your computer's back in action. Hope you remembered to back up. And that you didn't lose your play!
Robin. Well done on making the final 40 out of 1300! Considering there were 32.5 writers after each of those 40 slots that's brilliant. The battle with half a writer must have been a bit messy.
Top 40?
I counts that as a win.
Thanks Rach and Piers. It's certainly given me a boost and I am going to count it as a win - especially on my CV :-)
Commiserations, Rach. Onward to Paddling, though!
Thanks Elinor. I'll do a post on Paddling after its premier tomorrow so you'll know how it went.
Director says he found all the props except the stuffed seagull. Don't know how he did it.
I'm raiding the kids toybox tomorrow for any stuffed bird going.
